Announcement: New Limited Edition Socks with NFT staking!

Yes, the rumor is true.

We’re launching the next edition of tokenized socks in the coming months. Alpha alert!

This new edition will be even cooler than the DeFi Socks 2020 Edition.

Based on the feedback we got from the community, we’re making some changes to take awesomeness to the next level. We’re working hard to provide an excellent experience for everyone redeeming the physical socks.

What do you need to know about this edition?

The new edition’s cover name is: THE ETHEREAN

We fell in love with Ethereum and truly believe it’s becoming the global settlement layer as well as the world’s supercomputer. Ethereum is an innovation that disrupts the current financial system and working in this field is the most exciting thing many people outside of crypto don’t really understand.

We know what most people don’t know: a whole new economy is being built on Ethereum.

Ethereum is not perfect, and sometimes we get frustrated because of the high gas fees.

It’s a work in progress, but Ethereum 2.0 is coming and will be a gamechanger.

We dedicate this edition to Ethereum, featuring some of the key milestones, historical events, figures, projects to celebrate the incredible achievements and the milestones leading us to Ethereum 2.0.

Here is a quick overview of the new edition:

• Planned total supply: 500 tokens
• White socks with a colorful, comic-like design (designed by Daniel Sulzberg)
• The new edition comes with a custom-designed box
• We also include a limited-edition sticker in the boxes
• Each pair of socks comes with a numbered certificate
• 10% of the first 100 boxes will contain a super rare NFT
• The tokens will be sold on a bonding curve
• After redeeming your socks, a limited edition Etherean Sock NFT will be sent to your ETH address

Liquidity and fulfillment

• Liquidity and fulfillment will be guaranteed at least until Ethereum 2.0 fully launches. This is a significant milestone. After that, we will discuss the next steps with the community. We want to transform liquidity providing into a community effort.
• Minor liquidity removals will take place when a milestone in Ethereum’s development is reached (London, Shanghai hardforks etc.)

Stake your Etherean Sock NFT and earn rewards

The Etherean Sock NFT you receive can be staked, and by staking, you will earn tokens that can be used to redeem additional drops throughout the course of the project. More details about staking and the prizes will be shared later.

Token allocation

• 15% of the tokens reserved for the project (for promotional purposes and incentives)
• Maximum 20% will be sold during the pre-sale
• 65% will be added to Uniswap, selling on a bonding curve

We provide early access for those who have redeemed the Defi Socks 2020 edition. Addresses used during the redemption process will be whitelisted, automatically granting them early access.

Limitations:

We want to make the pre-sale as fair as possible, so the number of socks each address can purchase is limited as follows:

• If you redeemed 1 DeFi Socks, you could buy 1 token
• If you redeemed more than one, you can buy maximum 3 tokens

Starting price, deadline, and other details will be announced later.
