DeFi Socks Update — Redemption, Shipping, Promotions — 26.01.2021
Hey, fellow sock maniacs!
It’s almost the end of the month, and we wanted to give you an update on DeFi Socks.
We’re sharing some important info here. Please, read the whole thing.
A highlight for the busy homies:
1. Shipping started: now, if you redeem your socks, they will be shipped within a few days. Delivery time is 1–3 weeks but can be longer. Every package is sent as a priority.
2. Tokens are tradeable until 31 March 2021. After that, we will pull out the remained liquidity from the pool. If the community provides liquidity, then the token could remain tradeable.
3. Redemption time extended: tokens will be tradeable until the end of March, but if you have the token, you can still redeem your physical socks until 31 December 2021.
4. New rewards for NFT holders: a few lucky NFT holders will get some tokens from our partners. The sooner you enter the raffle with your NFT, the higher your chances of winning — more on this in an upcoming update.
5. New giveaways are coming: we’re working with other crypto projects to give away some free socks and increase our reach in the crypto space.

1. Shipping started
After weeks of waiting, we’re pleased to announce that we started shipping the socks for those who have already redeemed them. Thanks again for your patience.
We sent every redeemed pair of socks, and new orders are shipped within a couple of days after confirmation.
Delivery time is unpredictable, could be anytime between 1–3 weeks depending on your location and other Covid-related restrictions.
2. Tokens are tradeable until 31 March 2021.
We can’t emphasize this enough. DeFi Socks is not just a collectible item with limited supply, but its availability is limited until the end of March 2021.
After 31 March, the initial liquidity provided by us will be pulled out.
BUT.
If the community wants to keep the tokens tradeable, they can provide liquidity to the DeFi Socks’ pool on Uniswap. After 31 March, we can’t guarantee liquidity.

3. Redemption time extended to the end of 2021
The original redemption deadline was 31 March 2021. After further discussions, we decided to extend this deadline until 31 December 2021.
We want to make sure everyone who owns a DeFi Socks token has plenty of time to redeem the socks.
4. New rewards for NFT holders (for those who redeem the physical socks)
Once you redeem your socks, an NFT is sent to your wallet, providing access to crypto tools and rewards. NFT holders will be the first ones to get notified about a new, limited socks series.
As we mentioned in our previous update back in December, we’re launching a smart contract-based raffle for DeFi Socks NFT holders.
What’s really interesting is that the chance of winning is going to be on a bonding curve, just like the DeFi Socks. The earlier to enter the draw, the higher the likelihood that you’ll win a prize!
What prizes?
Our partners were kind to offer some tokens to some lucky NFT holders. We’re finalizing the details and will share more info in a separate update.
The campaign promoting the NFT rewards will likely start in February and run until the end of March. Anyone who redeemed their socks until 31 March 2021 will automatically qualify.
5. New giveaways are coming.
Under the hood, we’re working with other crypto projects to run giveaways with us. You can expect more free socks in the coming weeks/months.
